Regenerative Agriculture

Our multi-year journey to pilot a tree-generative model of raising chickens in the Upper Skeena and how our “Chicken Project” has changed. After three seasons of raising chickens, there are now enough local producers here to support our food security, which has led us to transition out of raising poultry ourselves. We are committed to support locals in the Upper Skeena through mentorship. 

Birch Water

2,000 litres of birch water was harvested on Gitxsan territory during the research & development year.
