Millions of wild baby salmon (smolts) are making their journey to the safety of the estuary on the coast! And we'll be there to welcome them. Hereditary Chiefs, Elders and community members are gathering together to honour and celebrate this miraculous migration. Join us for this very special event!

3pm: Free boat tours to the Skeena Estuary and Free tours of the Cannery!

4pm: Special Guest Speakers

5pm: Free dinner presented by the Kaien Island Elders

This is the 2nd Annual INVISIBLE MIGRATION held at the coast. Everyone Welcome! Communities and neighbours are joining together to celebrate, to share and to learn more about smolts and their migration to the estuary and beyond into the open ocean. The strength of their migration and the health of the estuary are critical to their safe return to the many lakes and rivers of the Skeena watershed.
