It’s Here!! Bruce Chandler has finished putting the final touches on the 10,000 salmon art project!
Youth from all over the 3 watersheds – Skeena, Stikine and Nass – have designed, coloured and glued thousands of little paper salmon to contribute to our GIANT regional art project. Bring your kids, families and friends and see where you can find the little paper salmon your child decorated!
Lots of food & music.
It’s the first time that youth across the northwest corner of British Columbia have participated in such a large event. More than 25 communities participated including:
New Hazelton, South Hazelton, Old Hazelton, Two Mile, Moricetown, Smithers, Houston, Skidegate, Masset, Charlotte City, Gingolx, New Aiyansh, Gitwinsilkw, Terrace, Port Edward, Prince Rupert, Gitsegukla, Kitwanga, Gitanyow, Kispiox, Stewart, Telegraph Creek, Iskut, Dease Lake, Nass Valley, Gitanmaax, Glen Vowell, Kitimat, Telkwa, and Greenville.
