Klabona - A Sacred Headwaters Documentary


First Story looks at the struggles that the Tahltan people in central BC have in keeping mining and natural gas companies from developing properties in the sacred headwaters of three vital rivers. In this pristine area which some call the Serengeti of the North: gas and oil company Royal Dutch Shell wants to drill for coal bed methane – natural gas. The Klabona Keeper are desperate to stop what they believe will be an environmental nightmare on their traditional land.
