Canada’s Biggest Decision Is About to Happen - Do the Math!

The massive Pacific Northwest LNG facility proposed by Petronas for Lelu Island and Flora Bank critical wild salmon habitat in the Skeena River estuary is almost at the end of its final environmental review process. You have a chance to help stop this project.

Put Habitat Back in the Fisheries Act!

The federal Fisheries Act, enacted almost 150 years ago, is one of the oldest pieces of environmental legislation in Canada. In 1977, under Pierre Trudeau’s government, the Act was amended to include habitat protection. Until 2012, this legislation empowered the federal government to protect oceans, clean water and fish habitat.
